Košice Football Arena

Custom typeface for the new city football stadium Košice Football Arena in Košice, Slovakia.

The modular stencil typeface is inspired by the aesthetics of football jersey numbers as well as the aesthetics of navigation systems and industrial signage. The rounded corners of the individual elements that are used to compose each character refer to the stitching of a classic football. The typeface is complemented by a collection of pictograms and symbols in the same stencilled design, which is well suited to the aesthetic and practical requirements of typography and symbols applications in different sizes within the stadium.
