Fontstand

Fontstand is an app for Mac OS X and Windows that allows you to try fonts for free or rent them by the month for desktop and web use for just a fraction of the regular price.

The logo, which also serves as an application icon, combines the letter F with an hourglass that serves as a methaphor for the app’s core function — temporary rentals of fonts. The green, blue, and purple colors represent various modes of font rentals available in the app.
