Im Jahr 1855 berichtete William Stephen Jacob am Observatorium der Ostindien-Kompanie in Madras, dass Bahnabweichungen es „höchst wahrscheinlich“ machten, dass in diesem System ein „planetarer Körper“ existiert.

Doko je elegantné, expresívne serifové humanistické písmo určené pre univerzálne použitie, obsahujúc 4 štýly v škále od Regular po Bold vrátane italiky, s nízkym kontrastom, prirodzenou šírkou a normálnou strednou výškou.

Podporovanými znakovými sadami písma Doko sú základná latinka a rozšírená latinka, vďaka čomu môže byť písmo použité vo viac ako 100 jazykoch. S celkovým počtom 479 znakov, základnou sadou sú proporčné skákavé číslice doplnené o proporčné zarovnané číslice, tabulárne zarovnané číslice, tabulárne skákavé číslice, horné indexy, dolné indexy a zlomky pre pokročilú numerickú sadzbu. Funkcie ako štylistická sada 1–3, štandardné ligatúry, špeciálne ligatúry a ordinály umožňujú ďalšie prispôsobenie a zvyšujú celkovú všestrannosť písma.

Doko je písmo navrhnuté predovšetkým pre použitie v dizajne časopisov a publikácií inšpirované komiksom, ilustráciou a letteringom. Jeho dizajn sa pohybuje na hranici medzi expresívnosťou nadpisových písiem a funkčnosťou textových písiem, pričom funguje rovnako dobre v oboch kontextoch. Doko bolo diplomovým projektom na magisterskom programe Type and Media na KABK v Holandskom Haagu.
